This sketch was a long time coming – I met Jillian at this photoshoot for the Lucky Style Collective in Lucky Mag, and I knew the moment she introduced herself that I was a fan.

She is also living proof that New York isn’t such a big city after all because we once ran into each other in the same car on the #6 train headed to Brooklyn! I love when shit like that happens.
When it rains it pours, I guess? In addition to a pretty amazing Refinery 29 feature, the great folks over at Ready Set DC thought I’d make a willing and eager subject – they were right – for an interview, a photoshoot, AND a video.

Today is a milestone birthday for dear ol’ Mommy pants. (Trust me, a) the number is higher than you think it would be when looking at the woman and b) while I know that she often rounds up when it comes to revealing her age, it’s not my place to reveal how young the old bird really is on the internets).
